It’s happy & important to choose a wetsuit which is fit & suitable for ourselves. But, at the same time, it’ also important to wash & store a wetsuit correctly. As it will help to maintain the wetsuit’s quality and function for as long as possible. The best way to prolong your wetsuit’s life is by cleaning and washing it every time you use it.
Remember that you should never wash your wetsuit in a washing machine. It’s hand wash only.
To give it a thorough clean and wash , rinse it with lukewarm fresh water or the water under 30 ℃, normally which will be showed on the care label of the wetsuit.

Here’re steps to clean & wash your wetsuit:
1. Once you take it off, it’s the first step that you remove the sand and dirt as possible as possible.
2. Make sure to rinse the zipper well;
3. Turn the wetsuit inside out and wash thoroughly by fresh water
4. Let the wetsuit dry naturally from the inside out
Why need dry wetsuit from the inside out? As it helps the neoprene restore its flexibility.
Let your wetsuit dry indoor or outdoor, but never under the sun directly.
Direct sunlight will damage your wetsuit and make the neoprene rigid and aging.
You can always use a hanger. But if it’s a thick winter wetsuit, pls avoid hanging it like a T- shit. As the neoprene areas around the shoulder will stretch with more extra weight and tear more easily.
If you don’t use a hanger, hang your wetsuit in half.
Once your wetsuit had dried out, keep it a in a wardrobe, shed or garage- anywhere cool and dry.
Please don’t fold or stuff your wetsuit into cramped spaces as it will easily cause creases and damage to the suit.
